Louis played the Singapore Open, which took place at Sentosa Golf Club.

He shot rounds of 70, 69, 65 and 67 to finish tied for the lead on 13 under par, before losing out to eventual winner Matteo Manassero in a sudden-death play-off after playing the 18th holes three times.

"I’m disappointed – I’ve putted well all week and I couldn’t have hit a better one for the win," said Louis, who missed from close-range at the second play-off hole. "I just read it wrong – those things happen. "I’ve been playing well and thought I was going to get this one. I’d been putting beautifully all day but it just didn’t go in."
